If TSF loses any one of those he is doomed.
Set up a separate place to donate for those 3 states, I will kick in my mustard seed.

(2,593 posts)My two cents.
But I get where you're going. Make Trump/MAGA/Republicans spend $$$ to defend something that should be in their column anyway.

(9,341 posts)North Carolina is literally tied.
IMHO, this is where the money & resources need to go:
North Carolina
Georgia
AZ
Nevada
Michigan
Wisconsin
Pennsylvania
Virginia
F**k - I just looked up Virginia:
dt's up 45%
Harris 41%
Once again, it's just my opinion but not ONE penny should go to Florida, TX, or Ohio IF it takes away from the swing states.

(30,398 posts)to make sure you have the so-called swing states covered with enough resources.
Florida and Ohio.
If we get Texas... that's a huge bonus and the election will be a landslide that we haven't really seen in 20 years.

(6,704 posts)I have a bad feeling that Ohio has yet to hit rock bottom as far as being a MAGA state. Remember, we have nutcases like Gym Jordan, Josh Mandel and the couch potato. I'm hoping Florida and maybe Texas voters are fed up. I think North Carolina is as good as in the Harris Column.

(10,142 posts)Ripe for the pickings if Kamala and Tim would just go there and campaign. Stops in Fort Wayne, Evansville, Carmel and Kokomo would be worthwhile.

(9,341 posts)Current polls:
Texas:
dt: 53%
V.P. Harris: 47%
dt - +6
Ohio:
dt: 52%
V.P. Harris: 42%
dt - +10
Florida:
dt: 54%
V.P. Harris: 46%
dt - +8
Per 538.
I'm not sure why Ohio is off by 8% (in terms of adding up to 100%).

(25,934 posts)I can come up with different numbers I bet if I look.
My first Google has TSF ahead in Florida by 5, with a 4.4 margin of error.

(2,180 posts)I wear Kamala or Kamala/Tum gear everywhere I go, and I've got nothing but compliments and questions on where to get it. Just a bit of anecdotal evidence. I've also seen zero Trump gear, except for my scary neighbors across the street with their 3x5 Trump flag.

(1,579 posts)but I also hope that her positive momentum and the energy and messages she and Walz are campaigning on that will be good for all middle class voters will resonate in places like Texas, Ohio and Florida. And that abortion access will matter. And in Texas even if we can't flip the state for the presidency, I have the wild wish we might be able to get Allred into the senate. Cruz is so very unpopular.

(35 posts)After the obvious blue wall states (Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Virginia, & Nevada), Arizona and Georgia should be the next priorities. I would think NC would be next.

(749 posts)She will have already won all 7 of the contested swing states. There's functionally a 0% chance that any of these 3 are the state that wins the WH. If they feel they have all the paths locked down later in October then go in but there isn't any point today.
