Does anyone remember??

I have a memory of Jim De Mint being implicated in a scandal with possible jail time some years ago. I can't find anything so maybe my 'memory' is wrong. Does anyone here remember this...I can't remember the name of the guy that did go to jail (or was convicted) only that it was in California...it was a money making scheme.

Sorry to be so ditzy but I need to clear this up.

that other Sen. Insee or Enslee of maybe Hollings? The one who was caught having an affair and lived in that house with all those other scary religious zealot Senators? ...on 9th street in DC? The one they own and get tax deductions because they called it a church or some slimy deal like that? I remember Rachel Maddow getting on them about it last year.

And the Sen, who was caught having an affair tried to buy off the husband of his paramour by giving them jobs and cash from his mother? That one? I think that guy was from the wonderfully democratic state of Arizona...?

This shit happened while Republicans were chairing everything. Ethics committees etc. Not one investigtion against these born-again christian family-values assholes who cheated on their wives, diapered-up and went down (in more ways than one).

All the while, tellling us to beware of the blacks, gays, Mexicans and, of course MUSLIMS! then they adjourned, screwed women and men who were not their significant others then met at C street house and forgave each other in Christ's name and did it again the next day and the day after and to this very day!

All of what you've both posted is true and valuable...however I was thinking about the DeLay/Cunningham scandal...I got DeLay and DeMint mixed up. They all look alike to me...
