Can we start a WH petition to get Obama to try to run for a 3rd term?

I know that there's that whole 22nd Amendment thing, but I think it'd be fun to fuck with the freepers and RWNJs who think that Obama is evil.

Fox likes to serve up fear and loathing and this should keep them busy for a few years.

Just a thought, carry on.

2. If it's good enough for Hugo Chavez, then it would be great for Obama

Oh wait. That may not be a winning narrative for his re-re-election.

Never mind.

Oh, wait...that one might not test well with focus groups, either.

and Bill as SOS, Chelsea to run his non-profit (or Senate Seat) and Obama as Ambassador to the UN, Barbara Boxer as Secretary of Defense...or any combination thereof.

This is the Liberal's Dream and the Republican Nightmare.

Once he finishes in January 2017, it is time to move on. I hope that moving on will be a woman standing near the, on that day, former President Obama to take the oath of office as our first female President, as long as that woman is a democrat.

A very slight chance that we have an overwhelmingly Democratic House and Senate and state houses. Very unlikely, but the Republicans just could pull it off with their insanity. Even so, this top heavy Democratic USA would not have much reason to repeal the 22nd Amendment. And likely Obama wouldn't be interested. But since it is possible to talk about it as theoretically do-able until November, 2014, I say we do it to drive the right wingers crazy.

trivia question - serving more than 2 years of another's term means that someone who has taken over from the VPresidency can only have 6 years maximum as President.
