Barring any dramatic reversals, Trumps 2024 candidacy wont have the support of his partys 2000, 2004 or 2012 presidential nominees.

As Bush remains neutral, consider: Trump won't have support from the GOP's 2000, 2004, and 2012 presidential nominees.
He also won't have support from his party's 2000, 2004, 2012, 2016, and 2020 vice presidential nominees.
It's an unprecedented dynamic.

Nevertheless, after last weeks news, it wasnt long before some started wondering whether Cheneys former partner in the White House might follow his lead. As NBC News reported, thats apparently not going to happen.
This comes four years after Bush also remained neutral in the 2020 presidential race. (After the election, the former president said he wrote in former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for president on his 2020 ballot.)
At this point, its worth pausing to appreciate the bigger picture.
Barring any surprises or dramatic reversals, the Republican Partys 2024 presidential candidate wont have the support of his partys 2000, 2004 or 2012 presidential nominees.
Whats more, Trump also wont have the support from the GOPs 2000, 2004, 2012, 2016 or 2020 vice presidential nominees.....
Bushs office told NBC News on Saturday, President Bush retired from presidential politics years ago. Maybe so. But Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have also retired, and theyre not only enthusiastic proponents of Harris candidacy, they were also celebrated at their partys recent national convention.
The Republican convention, in contrast, featured zero former presidents speaking in support of Trump.
It led The Bulwarks Jonathan Last to recently note, Thats a portrait of two institutions: One institution in harmony with its legacy and continuing to evolve in such a way as to hold its coalition together. The other institution in a state of convulsion.
Former President George W. Bush does not plan to endorse a candidate for president, his office told NBC News on Saturday. When asked whether the former president or his wife, Laura, would endorse a candidate or make public how they will vote, Bushs office said no.

I personally think that W is an asshole and should come out to support Harris Walz.

It would be the height of hypocrisy for 2000 election stealer bushthief to now all of a sudden claim he supports democracy and will endorse V.P. Harris. bushthief waged an all out assault against American democracy in Florida in 2000. This must never be forgotten. The orange turd is now using the election stealing road map that bushthief created in Florida in 2000. I'm not a fan of such blatant hypocrisy. I also can't help but notice that the article never mention's Al Gore's endorsement of the Harris/Walz ticket which is also wrong.
