A used-car salesman selling a broken-down heap that could blow up at any moment, and that's not a metaphor.

Is who he really is. Trump is a used car. With lights on the dash and the car’s computer is going crazy.

The owner went to the auction every week and bought cars for the lot. Almost every car we bought had the check engine light on. One day I talked to one of the mechanics and asked him if he took care of the check engine light on a particular car. He said sure, I've got the bulb right here in my pocket.

He was kidding, of course, but it shows the mind set.

from someone trying to think of something to do somewhere else. " Sorry, can't debate anymore now. Emergency at home, my grandmother's dying and my dog needs a vet, STAT!"
Oddest thing is though, I think he actually thinks it makes him look smarter, that pose.

He's really a very deranged man, you know. He lives along the precipice, has for decades, and as VP cum POTUS he'll try to take us all there with him. From delusion to disaster, he's the man of the moment for horror/adventure.

I was watching a YouTube recording of the debate on my computer. When Walz was dressing him down about not refusing to say that TFG had lost the election in 2020, I noticed his repeated and frequent swallowing, which the beard hides a bit. On zooming in and replaying that segment, I could see all this subtle twitching and tightening of muscles around his mouth and chin. He was trying very hard to look completely calm and unfazed, but I think he was in a state of heightened alert and deep panic, like he'd been found out and the game was up.

He may have been doing it all through the debate when confronted with things he didn't want to hear, but I wasn't going to go back and watch any more of him.
