And one other point -- I suspect that Democrats would not support using the 25th against Trump because it would set a bad precedent. It was intended to be used when a president was "unable to discharge the powers and duties" of the office. Just being feeble, or even cognitively impaired to some extent isn't what it is for. I've had numerous online debates with folks who argued that the 25th should have been invoked against President Biden. But the fact is that that even if you believe he has become cognitively impaired to some degree -- something I do not believe is true -- he has shown himself completely capable of carrying out the powers and duties of the office -- he signs or vetoes legislation, fulfilled his duty to report on the state of the union, holds cabinet meetings, confers with the leaders of foreign nations, and so on. Unless Trump is unable to do those things, the fact he does them badly isn't grounds for invoking the 25th.

Trump has made it clear that in 2016 he trusted GOP insiders too much when it came to appointments and his cabinet did not lick his boots clean enough. He now also fully controls the GOP.

Outside of a major medical issue that fully renders him incapable, the 25th will not come into play.
