Wow, Dan Rather was really harsh on The Rachel Maddow when they talked about the Susan Rice fiasco. Just saw the repeat.

This is becoming an old screenplay. It's clear that a lot of people were not happy that President Obama won re-election. I'm deeply disappointed in Dan Rather. He appears to be a staunch anti-Obamanite.

And it's Dan Rather's fault that Obama didn't stand up to the 3 lying assholes?
Whodda thunk he had that kinda muscle?

With "Democrats" like you, who needs Republicans?

(14,524 posts)... as I've not said a fucking word, one way or another about Rice or the subject of the SOS, period. None. Zero. Zitch. Nadda.
But I guess if you've got nothing else, you just make shit up and throw it at the wall hoping it will stick.
Pathetic. Time to update my ignored list.

(15,588 posts)and this isn't necessarily aimed at you Mother, but there has never been, ever, any President who prosecuted the one preceeding him. The reason is, he may end up doing something illegal himself and wouldn't want to set precedent.
The notion that Obama is to be faulted for not nailing the drunken frat boy is faulty because it's never happened before, so why now?
They just don't do that to each other. Mr. Obama is now in the 'club'.

Well...the Rice scenario was just that in my opinion. Obama advisers strongly recommended the President just go pick another battle and surrender Rice.
Dan Rather was reporting....I believe Rachel agreed.

If anyone has a link in which PO says, TTE, "Susan Rice is my nominee, or will be my nominee, or my favorite candidate for SoS" I need to see it.

(32,088 posts)You won't see a link showing PO saying ANYTHING about who is his nominee, or even his favorite candidate because it doesn't exist. This whole controversy has been just more of the corporate media happily carrying water for the GOP bullshitters. And, this was just more of it.
Dan Rather has really disappointed me lately. He was was on Rachel's show right before the election, insisting that Romney was going to win. And, here he is again, spouting even more anti-Obama crap. I'm even more disappointed in Rachel, because not only does she keep bringing him back, she goes right along with him. I had to turn it off--again.
