South Carolina Progressives To Hold A Party Celebrating The Departure Of GOP Candidates

“SC Forward Progress invites you to celebrate the long awaited departure of the Republican Presidential candidates!” an email reads from the group, who is holding a party in Columbia, South Carolina to watch results come in after the state’s Republican primary vote today. House Democratic Whip Rep. Jim Clyburn will be there, along with former South Carolina Governor Jim Hodges. Organizers billed as an event that will “offer a more progressive point of view in regards to the results.”
