Is the Ryan Lanza who was misidentified and was posting to Twitter that it wasn't him, was it his BROTHER? So, this was how he found out about it, by the press reporting it was him? And he thought it was another Ryan Lanza, but instead it was his own brother?
Anyone know?

(17,064 posts)He was reportedly carrying his brother Ryan's ID. Recent reports say the weapons were owned by Ryan, but earlier reports said they were owned by mother (killed at the school).
Ryan Lanza presently being questioned by LEO, but is not being described as a suspect. An male was found dead at Lanza home, descibed first as the father, then as a brother. Don't know which is correct. Also, Adam Lanza's gf and another friend reported missing.

(12,041 posts)There are probably several Ryan Lanzas in the nation, but having two siblings with the same first name is not common.

(17,742 posts)but the press reported that the shooter was Ryan, and Ryan Twittered that it wasn't him, it was another Ryan Lanza. Not realizing that it was his own brother, Adam.

(17,742 posts)I suspect the mistakenly identified young man got a really rude awakening today after posting that it wasn't him. Tragic.
