Spousal abuse 101: Force your spouse to break all ties.

I haven''t seen anyone point out that the current Administration is acting out this rule of abuse right out in the open. The abuser forces his spouse to break all former ties, even of family, so that she is wholly dependent on him. This is a classic maneuver.

That the Administration is acting like an abusive spouse is no secret to anybody, but I find it intriguing how closely they follow the classic patterns.

1. I have repeatedly. 1st action of abuser is to isolate victim, our country in this case!

2. I pointed out the abusive aspects of narcissism at several points & that MAGA is

a manufactured entity, abused by logic, emotion, gaslighting, baiting, stonewalling. It's a perspective that has received scant response.

3. Yeah, it seems like abuse is still a pretty taboo subject among the masses.

I've often speculated as to why. I think acknowledging it exists offends peoples's amour-propre.
