Hat tip to Chowder66: Here’s a report from KTLA 5, using the footage I shared from Bluesky:

BREAKING: A few minutes ago, a vehicle of three people was rammed by a truck belonging to federal immigration authorities in Boyle Heights, CA. According to security footage shown to me, they deployed chemical munitions & detained the driver at gunpoint. All are US citizens according to the wife.

We’ll see if this all shakes out. I’m assuming it’s true, but you know what they say about assumptions.

And ANOTHER update, same source: The Department of Homeland Security has released a statement regarding the arrest, which states that the man they took into custody is accused of “punching a CBD officer,” during protests in Paramount, CA.

What about the other two people who were arrested? And what about causing an accident on a busy street?

That doesn't appear to be an "accident" at all, but an intentional (by ICE) collision! n/t markpkessinger Wednesday #1

The arrestee is accused of punching an officer at the Paramount protest. And apparently he was alone in the car -- LauraInLA Wednesday #3
I'd like to see the proof of that Jilly_in_VA Wednesday #5
Who knows? They may have video. I question why they need to "pit" to catch him. LauraInLA Wednesday #6
The story gets worse, though apparently they were feds, not ICE. He was in the car with his wife and young child! LauraInLA Wednesday #8

So they decided to crash into a car with a young kid. Brilliant.

He was arrested for something at the Paramount protest.
