Where did ICE take busload of Glenn Valley Foods workers after raid? Here's what we know

Agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raided Glenn Valley Foods Tuesday morning and transported a busload of workers to an undisclosed location. Friends, family and attorneys have been left wondering where to find them.

Officials from ICE have declined to comment on where the more than 70 people were taken immediately after the raid. ICE said the execution of a search warrant at the meatpacking plant was "based on an ongoing criminal investigation into the large-scale employment of aliens without authorization to work in the United States."

Asked by reporters at a press conference Wednesday afternoon, Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer said he was not at liberty to say which detention facility was being used, describing the information as classified.

Reached by a World-Herald reporter Wednesday, Nebraska Sen. Dunixi Guereca, of Omaha, said he believed the workers were taken to an ICE field office facility, 1717 Avenue H, near Eppley Airfield.

I mean, they don't go "poof" into fairy dust, they're most likely on I-80 or I-29 like the rest of us.

70 "aliens" without authorization.
