The political commentariat want Obama to become the nation's sacrificial lamb

Notice the increase in the same tired line that "Obama is not doing enough", even before the trump induced situtation in L.A..

Seems like many just want an Obama Vs Trump spectacle without placing the onus where it needs to be. - Themselves and actual elected officials.

They need to focus on Trump horrific comments and actions.

The opposition to lawlessness must be led by the citizenry. This is not a battle between 2 men.

We are the people who are being attacked by the thug in power.

I don't see this appeal to Obama much these days. Intelligent successful people all around me aren't really aware of what is happening. It doesn't affect their day to day much, yet. We were left high and dry by civil society a long time ago. The Obamas are good. They are keeping their boat afloat, watching their backs, protecting their own.

Many are not surprised by what is happening, the apathy, the level of support for weaponized bigotry. Many are now in survival mode and concentrating on preserving their circle, finding their level, meeting the next day.

We will find our heroes in the mirror.

These people want to see a gladiator games and the believe (I honestly don’t know how) that “white” will triumph over “black”. They live in fantasy land
