What are the Marines and National Guard actually doing in Los Angeles?

Did President Trump send the U.S. military to Los Angeles earlier this week to safeguard the city from protesters? Or is this the start of something bigger — an unprecedented push by the president to carry out mass deportations with the help of armed troops?

New reporting about the military’s shifting duties in the city — and a new lawsuit filed by the state of California against the Trump administration — suggests the latter is very much a live possibility.

According to the New York Times, “armed National Guard troops mobilized by President Trump” — troops initially tasked with guarding federal buildings — instead “accompanied federal immigration enforcement officers on raids in Los Angeles on Tuesday

All but confirming the military’s expanding role, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) later posted two photos on X showing camouflaged soldiers holding rifles while ICE agents handcuffed suspects.

As backdrop for trumps manufactured good versus evil fox epic which will provide evidence of doing worse crap for fox viewers. When ya can’t lead, govern or manage money you put the lives of American Citizens on American Soil in jeopardy.

the troops rather than Mayor, Governor, etc., saved the day.

So far, LA and California have kicked his ass. Just hope a few trump voters and those who sat out get it.

That is dangerous AF! Armed cops, armed marines, armed national guard--and a lack of understanding of each of their roles?

The potential for miscommunication where they hurt each other is high, not to mention the risk to unarmed civilians. SMFH.

It's just a disgusting shitshow everyday with these clowns. It's so discouraging and sad to see.

The stupidity and cruelty is overwhelming.
