My mother had ABC (World News tonight, I think) on the TV last night. I'm always glad to see her watching ANYTHING other than Fox. The anchor, forget his name, was happily touting the "majority of Americans support Trump's handling of immigration/deportations" which alarmed me coming from anywhere but Fox. Then I remembered everything going on between ABC (and all the other media) and Trump, and realized it didn't mean anything. They are reporting to an audience of one. Maybe it's true, maybe not, maybe it's just extremely spun.
I don't believe its true, not in that simple encapsulation.
Oh well.

(519 posts)And it was unsettling. I watch NBC and they were also parading that. I know everyone does their own polling. Quinnipiac has him at 38% and underwater on everything. Its hard to know who to trust these days.

in this mess.
But way too many people are just looking for bias
confirmation.

(519 posts)I live in Philadelphia and before that Detroit. What I see as reactions from the population is much different than what many others may see.

(1,498 posts)The most recent example is the firing of Terry Moran. Terry's offenses were his interview with Trump, calling him out on the Photoshopped picture of Kilmar Garcia's hand shopping "MS13" on his fingers. The second offense was a Social Media posting where he called Trump a 'world-class hater'.
