It’s not just your imagination—America under Trump is losing friends fast. According to a brand-new global survey from the Pew Research Center, confidence in U.S. leadership has collapsed in most of the world, with a 2025 report showing a dramatic plunge in global trust since Donald Trump returned to power.

In fact, the U.S. is now polling like a rogue superpower, ranking below even China in multiple nations. And while MAGA loyalists may not care what the world thinks, the rest of us—especially the Americans trying to preserve their country’s global reputation—should care deeply.

The Numbers Are Brutal
Pew surveyed over 28,000 people in 24 countries. The results? A median of just 34% of global respondents trust Trump to “do the right thing” in world affairs.



America Is Now “Dangerous, Arrogant, and Dishonest”
Those aren’t our words. That’s the majority opinion from 24 countries. Pew asked about Trump’s character:

80% say he’s arrogant

66% say he’s dangerous

66% say he’s not honest

Only 41% think he’s even qualified to be president

Yes, a majority still say he’s a “strong leader.” But so is Putin. The world isn’t confusing strength with wisdom.
