Gas prices in my area jumped more than 40 cents a gallon overnight.

I'm sure it is related to Israel's attack on Iran, but dang the oil companies don't waste a second to gouge consumers.

Doesn't matter that this oil was bought at least 6 weeks ago. The typical oil company scam has started all over.

Gas prices have been bouncing up and down with no rhyme or reason the last several months.

I'm in the upper Piedmont area of NC (central part of the state, not that far from Virginia). The lowest I saw was 2.73, I think. Nothing over 2.90. I'm sure it won't last, but I was too tired and hurting to stop, and I had half a tank. I couldn't have gotten $20 worth in this tiny gas tank!
