MSNBC calling Trump "the so-called dealmaker-in-chief," even with the built-in & intentional sarcasm, is disappointing.

I get it. "so-called dealmaker-in-chief" implies that he wears a title he hasn't earned, and it's true. Republicans have swooned over Trump's ghost-written epic, and his "unparalleled skill at deal-making," even as he's failed to make one single deal with foreign leaders in his first 140 days in office.

China didn't cower in fear over his tariffs.
Putin let his subordinate vent and then did what he was going to do before he got that annoying phone call.
Netanyahu basically did the same.

Trump's viewed them all as his dogs at the end of his leash, and they all chewed through their leashes and jumped the back yard fence.

So I may be nit-picking here, but saying Trump is the "so-called dealmaker in chief," even sarcastically, is lightweight to me. I'd lean more toward "This guy couldn't find his own ass with a mirror and a flashlight," but that's just me. Stop name-checking a "skill" that was a lie all along, like everything else in Trump's life.
