Thank you to all the brave and amazing people who are doing it. Please be safe and careful!!!
Also, you guys just made me change my mind. I was kinda terrified to do it. But I feel an obligation as this might be one of our last opportunities to truly stand up against this autocracy.

(53,169 posts)Then I made another double sided for my sister to carry.
She did 't really grasp the idea that this will be much bigger than the 2017 Women's March, the single largest protest in US history. This is enormous!!!
I'm getting up early and I'm driving downtown to find a parking spot as close to the event that I can then just sit in my car and walt until the time is closer to the march and I can walk over or I will call and get Umber. I never used umber before and I have no idea how to call them and what to expect them to be able to do. There are 2 protests within a mile of each other and umber may be to only option.
This is protest will be the most enormous mass protest in US history.
Meanwhile tRump is paying "seat fillers" for his parade between $500 and $1,000.

I'm making my part of the feis a bit of a no-kings event

(167 posts)Next to the Oaks Shopping Mall. Apparently some National Guard APCs are in the parking lot. This is a suburban shopping mall in a neighborhood about as "Bouge" as it gets, well not quite Beverly Hills...what a joke.

Im with ya in spirit, though!
(EDIT ADD: Plus, I live about 20 miles outside of downtown L.A. in a place called Whittier, where up until at least yesterday morning, we had ICE setting up base at the Doubletree a couple of blocks from here. I have a feeling agility may be the ability for todays demonstration, and I just aint up to it.)
