Did I just hear on MSNBC that the shooter had a manifesto?

I think I heard the police officer say that in the news conference but I don’t have a link yet I’m sorry. I will keep looking. If any of you have confirmation for that please share.

Chief Mark Bruley of the Brooklyn Park Police said the gunman’s vehicle contained a “manifesto” and a target list with names of individuals, including the two lawmakers who were shot.

while shooter was still there. He engaged in a shoot out with them and escaped, but left his fake cop car in the driveway. That's where they found the list of targets. So, they might have his name or not, but they found the target list at one of the scenes, not at the attackers residence.

I noticed, darkly, that when I looked at the headlines on Google News about an hour ago, all the Reich-Wing sources' headlines were sure to include something that the shooter "impersonated" a cop or was a "fake cop". Long before that was confirmed, I'm sure. (has it been confirmed?)

IF it is confirmed that the shooter was not really a cop, this (sadly) bolsters the case that ICE and other ACTUAL law enforcement NOT wearing masks or showing badges is hugely problematic. How the FUCK does a target know whether this is a "legitimate" encounter or not? (leaving aside whether raids by ICE or every encounter with an actual police officer is truly legitimate)
