In my job experience, people, especially driven people, can be the best and most innovative problem solvers in their fields, but totally self-absorbed, opinionated, abusive assholes in their private lives.
There are lots of people that I have worked with that I will totally respect and depend on in terms of their work, but I will go out of my way to avoid them personally.
Toxic people.

It starts out as typical business idiot management stuff, which matches with that appointment, but his latest stuff was something in the DRC and a security firm.

that this was another atrocity committed by a hate-filled White male with a gun...the single greatest internal threat to our national security. I doubt that they will, but that's how the media should frame this story if they (for once) wished to be honest with the American people.

make it a racially charged issue on top of it all to increase the division and stir even more anger. Great idea.
Before we say something, maybe we should ask ourselves what it would sound like it we substitute the race with another. If it sounds even mildly KKK-ish, maybe we shouldn't say it.

going to play tit-for-tat with you. This isn't a racial issue, so stop trying to make it one. We have enough unfounded hatred being spread around these days and we shouldn't be adding to it.
