Millions Rise Up to Say in Unison: 'No Kings!' 'No Dictator!'
The turnout has exceeded expectations.
Millions of people took to the streets Saturday to reject authoritarian overreach, defend democracy, and stand up for their communities. The turnout has exceeded expectations in over 2,100 cities and towns across the United States and worldwide. Demonstrators gathered in parks and plazas to protest against President Donald Trump.
No Kings is really about standing up for democracy, standing up for peoples rights and liberties in this country and against the gross abuse of power that weve seen consistently from the Trump administration, ACLUs chief political and advocacy officer Deirdre Schifeling said.
Here is a small sample of some of the massive crowds that turned out Saturday:

Enough of the past tense! It's only 2:30 pm here on the west coast, and there are lots of demonstrations and marches just getting ready to happen or happening right now- ours is at 4:30 pm (we have them staggered throughout our area to give everyone a chance to go - Bothell/Kenmore/Lake Forest Park/Shoreline in Washington State).
SO IT AIN'T OVER YET - STAY TUNED!
Ours in LFP will be staged at "Democracy Corner", a gathering area for activitists for many years.
I have my sign ready:
DUMP TRUMP

BULLSHIT!
