To be clear the troops are doing their job and following lawful orders, so this isn't a criticism of their being in the parade.

showing up, doing their duty. The US Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps are cool - making it more about the history of the military than Dump - maybe they'll remind people of WHY our military was conceived. Not exactly a great audience turn-out, though - at least from what I can see.

I don't think he likes the soldiers attire, but then he might have heard about the crowd sizes of the "No Kings" protests. Makes his parade look like other parts of him...really small.
