it was so wonderful to be politically active there.
In 92 I oganized the entire women's march there with
people attending from across the country.
I demonstrated and marched countless times.
I demonstrated in the parking lot where David Duke
was speaking in League City. My sign said:
Hitler 1932 -- Duke 1992
I really love that city, so diverse and politically
engaged.

It is a wonderfully diverse area with multiple universities, a robust scientific community and tier one medical care.
So proud of my community today!

Their medical community saved me from becoming
a cripple.
And working in politics there was so easy and such a
joy.
