According to Aaron Rupar who is quoting KARE TV in the Twin Cities. The station reports that Vance Boelter's best friend says Boelter voted for Trump and is a "strong supporter."

(126,104 posts)The federal terrorism law defines domestic terrorism but doesn't provide for a separate defined penalty for it. There is currently no means to prosecute someone under federal law for domestic terrorism; instead, people are prosecuted under state law for state crimes included in the federal definition. https://www.congress.gov/crs-product/R47885

(7,702 posts)like I said in another post, he has no decency, if this guy was a solid dem, he would have wasted no time saying this was done by a radical left wing socialist Antifa blah blah blah.
I also thought it curious that him being appointed by Walz was leaked to a RW rag before officials confirmed who the suspect was. Somebody was trying to shape the narrative or muddy the waters.
