Protested in Madrid NM didn't know what to expect

but my niece and I wanted to be away from the Albuquerque crowd and traffic and why not head up to a nearby mountain town? We are participating! Signs and so on.

Before I know it someone she is chatting up realizes she is a social worker in the schools and passes on a bag of MAGA hats to her. So she can pass to others. Seems you are safer as an immigrant (let’s face it even a citizen) if ICE comes for you if you have a MAGA hat.

It was a strange roundabout protest day but I feel we made some strong connections.

Yes I now have a MAGA hat. And will pass along where I think it will help.

Like you we didn't want to join the Albuquerque protest that time around. Crowd size at Madrid then was about 15, which is incredible for the size of the town. Lots of passing cars honked or gave thumbs up.

Today we were at the Mariposa Basin Park protest in Albuquerque. Great Crowd size and enthusiasm.
