5. Make sure you haven't accidentally entered private mode. It's easy to do that. It clears cookies all the time.

Your star is showing, so once you log in, you should get no ads.
The site is operating perfectly for me and everyone else, so it's got to be a browser problem.

I'm thinking that you're missing something on your iPad. DU will keep you logged in most of the time. It uses a cookie to do that. So, maybe you're clearing your cookies or something.

Trust me, DU doesn't want to show ads to its Star members.

But, GD isn't the place to discuss that.

Every once in a while, for some reason, my desktop or phone wants me to sign in again.

Then again, Thursday night Netflix wanted me to sign in. I stared at the screen with a blank look because it's been many months since I last signed in. Why was I logged out? Dunno. Maybe a cosmic ray flipped a bit in my tv's memory ... Dunno.

DU needs it more often. Other sites require it monthly. My devices remember my passwords for sites that don't carry a big threat of financial or professional loss, I click to use the saved log-in credentials. Consumes 3 seconds of my life.
