Sen. Tim Kaine Introduces War Powers Resolution To Prevent War With Iran

"I am deeply concerned that the recent escalation of hostilities between Israel and Iran could quickly pull the United States into another endless conflict,” Kaine said.

“The American people have no interest in sending servicemembers to fight another forever war in the Middle East. This resolution will ensure that if we decide to place our nation’s men and women in uniform into harm’s way, we will have a debate and vote on it in Congress,” the Virginia senator added.

War Powers resolutions are privileged, meaning Kaine’s bill will force the Senate to consider and vote on the measure quickly.

A similar resolution is being introduced in the House. Please call your reps in support.

1. A couple questions

they might want to have answered first:

1. Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu has warned of an imminent threat from an Iranian nuclear bomb for more than 30 years. What makes this time different?

The history of Netanyahu’s rhetoric on Iran’s nuclear ambitions

2. What is the informed opinion of the IAEA that has monitored this subject for years?

so he needs another war to wag the dog. Iran is a perfect villain to rally support against because they do plenty of bad things. Kind of like Bush with Iraq.

That is what makes this time different.

Everyone who didn't support/vote for Kamala was warned this would happen.

although he is waffling on whether to strike Fordo or not.

From BBC: Trump approved Iran attack plans, but no final decision made
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday night approved plans to attack Iran, but he has not made a final decision on whether to strike the country, the BBC's US partner CBS reports.

Trump held off on initiating strikes in case Iran agreed to abandon its nuclear program, a senior intelligence source told CBS.

The news was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

On Wednesday, Trump said, "I may do it, I may not do it", when asked a question about US involvement in Iran.

Trump is weighing a US strike on Fordo, an underground uranium enrichment facility in Iran, CBS earlier reported.

It should not just be just the felon goon's fickle impulse that launches the US into a costly and dangerous war w Iran. Both Bibi and Donno are trying to deflect attention on their tragic failures and nefarious plans.

And I think it's pretty traitorous of Trump
to take on to himself all three branches

Let's hope his toddler-mind's desire to use nukes
doesn't happen...

and I think he'd be happy with proxy nukes too,
and claim that he authorized them or something.
