in the US, there are eight uniformed services, where members hold ranks issued by the government (e.g. Lieutenant, Colonel, General, etc).
The well-known six are the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force
what are the other two?
Hint for one of them, their General is the best-known in the country.

Though technically, the Surgeon General of the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps is a Vice Admiral.
