of all these fellow human beings, what's being done with their personal possessions? Are they being safely secured and stored for them to be returned at a later date (unlikely), or is this just another means to offer some additional compensation to the jack-booted thugs? I'm going with pillage and plunder.

Reams of records that couldnt get burned fast enough to escape allied armies detailing minutiae of nazi administration included pillage and loot. I doubt anything is getting documented under the rump regime.

Except to document those they kidnap and kill. Because they get paid a bounty per head.
