Stephen Miller Driving Congressional Aides Crazy With Calls

Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller is so involved in every aspect of the Trump administration’s efforts to radically reconfigure American democracy that congressional aides have reportedly begun complaining about his incessant phone calls.

Ignoring the fact that his “outreach wasn’t always welcome,” Miller would call congressional aides for lengthy, aimless conversations about illegal immigration that contained no specific requests, according to a damning new Wall Street Journal report.

One aide likened Miller to a “grandmother who wouldn’t stop talking,” and compared his phone calls to podcasts. Other aides said that Miller would call to scold them about how they had worded something in a press release or framed an issue in a social media post.

The phone calls are just one example of the ways Miller has maneuvered himself into a position where he can micromanage almost every aspect of the Trump presidency.

This is despite Trump previously declining to promote Miller to a leadership role at the Department of Homeland Security during his first term, telling aides that he felt Miller “wasn’t leadership material.”

Talk about your "nattering nabobs of negativism"! I'd literally blow a whistle in his ear and slam the phone down!

Cut him off, block him!
It’s not that difficult with modern technology.

If they are so embarrassing, maybe Trump will get rid of him.

But now, if dump and mush can have a major fallout (which was/is a pretty big deal), maybe some kind of way this miller fuck can go too far and somebody will say something to dump and he’ll go hmmmmm, and then

8. Stephen Miller is only 39-years-old, hopefully he'll live long enough to have all the hate and viciousness he's created

come back to haunt him in his later years. If any karmic justice exists, Miller will end up as the most reviled figure of the Trump years. A thoroughly odious character.

knows best about immigration policies etc.

Sadly, a lot of these immigrants are here for jobs, that would go unfilled otherwise.

I've always wondered about the seeming disconnect between the constantly increasing number of new economic entities in this Country, that keep popping up, vs. the vast numbers of physical bodies to work in these thousands of new positions. With the birth rate in the US creeping downwards, our population getting older, and the economy driving families to have fewer children or no children, there's bound to be serious discrepancies in economic activity, due to a serious lack of labor.

Hence, some smart-ass republicans have been saying to yank everybody off of social security and put them to work. Despite the fact that a great majority of us have worked legitimately until our retirement age, and thus, are entitled to retire. Somehow, the repugs seem to act like this is wrong, when in practice, yanking millions of immigrants who were paying taxes too, while working (not all of them), is leaving serious gaps in our economic engine.

And sadly, there were viable fixes to these immigration issues, the repubs just didn't want to 'fix' it, they wanted immigration to be an ongoing issue.
