I'm driving more cautiously. Narrowly escaped a speed trap a few weeks ago, thanks to an oncoming headlight blinkee. I am slowing down my movements in public, thinking and double checking. I'm the type that could leave my keys at the checkout and not miss them for a couple hours. Be kind, positive, do everything in a moderate, mainstream, and friendly way. Yield to others pace, missteps. Go with the flow. Seems to me this is the way to get through this while trying to calm the populace down.

Probably don’t fit their profile but that doesn’t mean I can’t get arrested for filming or protesting of just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I don’t believe anyone is 100% safe.

I'm an old white woman in a red town, in a red county, in Iowa.

If they're coming for me, they've arrested most everyone else.

medical records (3-11 shift) when I attended college (68-72). I left work one night, pulled into a gas station to fill up and noticed a cop parked in the parking lot looking at me as I got gas. I had long hair, which was not popular for many in the South at the time, so I thought to myself....uh-oh....sure enough when I pulled out he followed me...long story short - he pulled me over, harassed me, threatened to throw me in jail, etc.

It made an impression on me that has lasted forever. When I look in the rearview even today my heart speeds up - I consider them troublemakers.....and should go after criminals and stop fucking with people.

So no, I do not trust law enforcement at all and never have. I am white and can just imagine what people of color go through every single day.

I've never had this fear in my life until now. And now I think through everything I do and everywhere I go, and how it might be perceived. I want to protest, but I have too many health issues to risk being tear gassed or thrown around by goons.

Krasnov pisses off the world. It sounds insane, I know, but yesterday I was out working in my garden and became kind of rattled. We live in a rural area in New England near the top of a hill and it's usually pretty quiet. Suddenly, a bunch of really loud jets were overhead. Even though there were few clouds, I couldn't see them, but they were just roaring across the sky. While sane me knows this is probably the Air National Guard training, Trump America me had to stop weeding and stare at the sky wondering. I hate this.

There's also an airport, but the sound of commercial planes kind of blends into the background.

The F-15s used to do drills at predictable times in the morning and afternoon. They were noisy, but interesting to watch.

Now they have F-35s which are louder. When I hear them I think TSF is calling for war. Probably they are just training. It doesn't make me feel secure - its frightening.

i don't "fear" terrorism per se, but it is one of the few things that actually concern me, mostly for the seemingly random nature (from the victims' perspective)

I used to live about 40 miles south of Fort Hood. One morning, two of these helicopters flew over my house at a very low altitude:
