Trump "posed for photos & handed out signed swag" to convince Republicans to vote for f*cking over America. USA! USA!

Trump, fresh off his "blunt-force charm offensive" to woo hardline conservatives, expressed confidence Wednesday night that his party would fall in line and vote to pass his signature budget bill.

Trump's massive, multi-trillion-dollar tax and spending package, dubbed the "Big, Beautiful Bill," extends and expands Trump's tax cuts. Critics have said it will mainly enrich corporations and the super wealthy, thrust millions off Medicaid and food assistance, and increase the federal deficit by at least $3.3 trillion over the next decade.

The president has pulled out all the stops to get deficit hawks to fall in line, including posing for photos, handing out signed swag, and charming holdouts in his party.

Even so, the fate of the bill wasn't immediately clear late Wednesday to many, except the president himself.

"It looks like the House is ready to vote tonight. We had GREAT conversations all day, and the Republican House Majority is UNITED, for the Good of our Country, delivering the Biggest Tax Cuts in History and MASSIVE Growth. Let’s go Republicans, and everyone else - MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform just before 9:15 p.m. Eastern Time.

What Trump offered to get rogue Republicans to back bill

https://www.rawstory.com/trump-bill-rogue/

Donald Trump wheeled and dealed his way to imminent legislative victory Thursday, promising renegade right-wing Republicans favors to win their support for his budget megabill.

With five Republicans initially voting no, and others declining to vote at all, an all-night House session has apparently whittled opposition down to just one — meaning the bill is expected to pass Thursday.

According to CNN, the dissenters were won over by promises including that the president would use executive power to aggressively kill Biden-era clean energy tax credits — a backroom commitment that flipped key holdouts.

Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina, who had been a vocal opponent of the Senate version, suddenly found himself singing Trump's praises on CNBC after a White House sit-down.

Not only did the "holdouts" or as Brendan Boyle called then the "folders caucus", settle for cheap Trump momentos, but they believed it when Trump promised them favors in return for their votes!

Even if it passes, it will be a Pyrrhic victory for the GOP.

Sometimes, what you wish to happen, could be the worst thing to happen.

I hear that Trump wants this to pass, so that he can go on a 'victory' tour.

Of course, he will lie more and more.

Don't ever mention those words 'Pyrrhic victory' to MAGA, they do not know what it means.
