Because now we'd see if there is in fact a new Joe Scarborough on this issue as the NRA did exactly in their "presser" what he said would be death for them.

By Wednesday I'm sure there will be a new outrage to pontificate over.

They can choose to be an organization that supports responsible gun owners, hunters, and people who want to protect their families, or they can be the organization that supports survivalists and other nutjobs. (I'm paraphrasing, obviously.) He went on to say that if they choose wrong, they'll pay a heavy price.

and we know that silence is consent. Joe Scum is a classic ReTHUG hypocrite. I don't trust him for a moment.
He's merely pushing himself as the moderate solution.

He went on to point out that so long as we're blaming video games or Hollywood, it's all okay, but as soon as GUNS come into the conversation, all of a sudden it's being POLITICIZED...

It fit in well with his earlier comment when he mentioned that he'd talked to an old political friend about it, and the friend said he couldn't comment until today's NRA news conference. Joe was stunned that a third party was holding dominance over his friend's personal convictions.

Today, anyway, he sounds almost like US. Maybe the world DID end as we knew it.

I gave him a cookie on monday when while he was in the mist of awaking from is right wing slumber and slammed the nra mentioned mental health but still wanted to push violent games and the liberal hollywood as the evil and root cause of the massacre.

Well f@#% Joe you can have my whole bag of Christmas Oreos! That was an awesome exchange he just had. A hell Joe you can have the other bag of oreos I got cause it was buy one get one free at Publix.

Thank you Joe!

he hasn't changed
he simply knows that unless they want to lose everything, they have to give something up and quick

so it makes him seem better
but it is a ruse

(to paraphrase myself)
he want to only give 10% instead of 100% of 100%

It's the reason Jeb will be the nominee in 2016
looking sane is a rarity in the repub party and while the leaders of the tea/repub/lib are all way rightwing, the voters are not

the voters have constantly told congress they hate what they are doing

(and I just wish those that berate Obama without looking at the big picture realize you are playing into the Scarboroughs and Jeb's of the world

scene so vicious. Joe IS the Republicans. One of their most extreme mouthpieces and a former elected official. For such people 'blasting' their own is just theatrics, the only meaningful action is a change of Parties.
Joe is just playing his role in his Party, as are those he is 'blasting'.

he didn't have to say any of the things against his party but he DID IT.

As much as I enjoyed having OBAMA win - the Rethug candidates were so "owned" by the Teaparty types, they dug their own graves.

What's better for America -- in my view, it would be someone that each party run candidates that want AMERICA to Be BEAUTIFUL.

They hate the fact that he was critical of all of the GOP Presidential candidates this year - even Romney after he got the nomination. He was right in his analysis though.
