Even insiders are questioning Trump's health

Even insiders are questioning Trump’s health
The world is aflame. Can he handle it?

(Salon) Donald Trump’s latest activities have even some in his administration worried about his physical and mental health. Mind you, no one wants to talk about it openly — though there are a few who will spend the holiday break speculating.

A member of Trump’s team bluntly told me, “I’d lose my job if I talked about this publicly. Or worse.”

The causes for concern, according to a couple of members of Trump’s circle, are his recent lackluster public appearances, his gait, his apparent befuddlement, his propensity to govern via Truth Social postings, his sloppy attire and his lack of engagement at the White House with others.

Trump hasn’t shown up in the Oval Office on Mondays in about a month. His recent golf outings have been at a course in Sterling, Va., instead of at Mar-A-Lago or Bedminster, “and that’s because he doesn’t have to be gone from the White House as long,” I was told. “I don’t think he’s in good physical health.”

....(snip)....

If Trump is having cognitive difficulties, do not expect the press to be there to report on much of it. On Wednesday, Paramount settled a nuisance lawsuit to the tune of $16 Million on Tuesday night over the editing of a Kamala Harris interview on “60 Minutes.” The suit was both specious and ridiculous. ...................(more)

Would be difficult to believe it is untreated. There are so many medicines now and he has access to any doctor in the world.

Of course one can get trapped in mainstream medicine and not consider alternative treatments.

Obesity has risks. Golf is not much in the way of exercise.

Will be signed and he will be WORSE than surplus. He will be a retired golfer before Xmas, if he doesn't discorporate before then. The GOP doesn't need his bullshit sucking the air out of their party.

I suspect Stephen Miller is acting as a go between for the real rulers. He has Trump's ear, and can influence him to say/do what they want.
You might want to consider people like Elon Musk, Peter Theil, Harlan Crow, and other billionaires as being the real force behind Project 2025, and the actual people "guiding" the government toward fascism.
The "big beautiful bill" makes permanent the big tax break they got in 2017, but the real problem with that bill is the huge increase in funding for ICE. We're seeing a large "brown shirt" army forming, and a whole bunch more detention camps being built.
My concern is that these camp are going to be around for a long time, and that immigrants are only part of their targeted prisoners.

Trump was having "cognitive difficulties" WELL before the November election,
but the MSM refused to report on that.... but eagerly reported on any alleged "Biden stumble"

Even with cancer, Joe Biden seems to be in better shape than Trump is, mentally---
and the quality of his advisors was so much better than Trump's that
we can't even begin THAT discussion....

add to that, President Biden
would actually LISTEN to his advisors and consider their counsel---
while TRUMP thinks that he is 'smarter than everybody else',
INCLUDING his advisors, and is no better than a mad bull in a china shop---

Also, he maintains that he didn't even know what was in 'his own "Big Beautiful Bill"---
and I'm not certain that he DID know, although he SHOULD have,
as the Medicaid CUTS which he promised he would not do, have dominated
news coverage about the bill for the past month----

but he gets all his news from FAUX and "LIES SOCIAL"! which likely never talked about that...

Just today he said that, in his birthday/military jerkoff parade, soldiers were marching down "5th Avenue".

One could accurately note that in his first term, he played lots of golf, and did very little that could be considered the work of the presidency. Yet, what has changed is how the felon presents between playing golf. That raises a couple of questions.

First, at what pace might we reasonably expect the downhill slide? I asked a retired doctor, a nice lady who was not "political" until the middle of the felon's first term. She said that the physical and mental decline go hand in hand. She said that individuals differ at the felon's age, based largely upon genetic, diet, and levels of stress in their adult life. I asked if this was the same for sociopaths? She said that overall, it is best to have good mental health, as it helps reduce stress, but that she was not aware of health studies of sociopaths, at least not those held in prison.

Second, just my opinion, but I have reason to believe that Stephen Miller is the unofficial "acting president." It's not that the felon doesn't have a few hours a day where he can hold it together, and splatter his nonsense. Thus, when something goes "wrong" for the administration, it will cause a destructive response.

We need to increase the pressure at every non-violent, constitutional level. Maybe -- and it's a big "maybe" in an uphill struggle -- there will be significant changes by next year.
