Would an assault weapon Bullet Ban work better?

There are few gun owners who REALLY know how to use a gun....


There are 1/10th of those who know how to make bullets for the assualt weapons that wont blow up or somethin..


Would making the possession of the bullets that shoot in these assault weapons illegal be just as or even more effective than banning the guns themselves?

Those same rounds are used in hunting rifles and have been for quite some time.

I have no idea where you got your stats, but you might want to reconsider them. They are bogus on the face of it.

Reloading is easy and quite safe.

Bans have proven ineffective in the past and the hysteria has caused new guns and magazines to fly off the shelves. That cat appears to be out of the bag.

2. It is easy to change the rifles to shoot different bullets.

You can already get AR-15 type rifles in a variety of calibers.
