first of all, I like the term "gunhadist..."

second, until we can determine what an "Assault weapon" is, we can't really make laws to regulate them...

Look, things are going to be defined by the background. At one point, the katana I have would be defined as a "battle weapon." Today, I might get a pass during a conflict while both sides were laughing.

Personally, I can't think of any reason to have a 30+ round magazine.

Mind you, a good 3D printer can make all the parts for a firearm... just depends on the plastics/resins that you use...

personally, I think we ought to restrict extended magazines to police and military only.

Also, I'm for committing the violent crazies.

THAT would stop the massacres.

the envelop in their quest for ever more lethal weapons, we wouldn't have to go through this crap time after time.

So, let's just keep it simple and ban all semi-automatic weapons, period. The gun cultists should be able to understand that.

While we are at it, let's end "stand your ground laws" because the gun carriers don't seem to understand that either.

would there be a restriction on the number of revolvers in a house?

remember, if the usual hit rate is one out of six, then you need a full revolver for 1 bad guy.

if a group goes house hunting, then you'd need one revolver per bad guy.

(and no, I spare NO sympathy for a home intruder. They know the risks...)
