The one thing CNN does better then M$NBComcast is cover

live happenings Sure it’s a holiday weekend, but CNN has live coverage of the destructive floods in Texas. M$NBComcast is full of replays.

I tune to CNN. They're good at that kind of thing. For commentary and news analysis, not so much.

I would not expect breaking general news.
That would go to NBC News.
I do miss the Original CNN where anytime you could catch the latest.
