That would defeat his whole purpose for doing this. He's doing it to target Republicans. What he wants is for the Republican party to bend to his will - that is prioritize the things he prioritizes. There's little chance of it working on more than a really small scale, but more power to him. This is not going to hurt the Democrats whatsoever.
