The Bitter End - Nautical Terminology - GOP Haz Reached It

The end of a rope is called the "bitter end." And that's what the Republicans have reached. President Obama has been feeding out rope to the GOP, and they've been sliding down that rope for some time. Now, they've reached the "bitter end," and there's no knot there to stop the sliding.

Sorry, Boehner. You've just slipped off the bitter end of the rope. Bye, now.
