1. I'm afraid that he will, though--I feel bad about Rice, and I hope

he doesn't leave Hagel out to dry. The party and the people I DIDN'T want in power (and didn't vote for) shouldn't be choosing his cabinet. I felt sick when I saw Johnny Mac slobbering over Kerry.

2. Most of what I have read on the subject of appointments indicates

there is a lot of signalling from POTUS that you (Rice) should pull your card before I have to.

3. Two things that bother me about Rice (and I was a little leery

of her Keystone pipeline investments, but still...)--the charges against her were ridiculous and manufactured, and she never got to defend herself with a nominating process. She will go down in history forever associated with a State Dept/CIA mishap that she really had nothing to do with.

4. The speculation is that the President did. Problem is since it was only speculation from the

talking heads they are assuming it as fact, and that is simply wrong for a so-called news person to convey

5. Was there ever any Actual Evidence that Susan Rice was ever Obama's First Choice?

Or was it all media (and McInsane's) speculation creating reality, so that it could be smacked down?

6. I saw it put forth in the media that she was. I can only assume

that if the WH disagreed with what was being reported (or strategically leaked or floated) they would have corrected it.
