I have never seen such a shocking display of out of touch as this NRA presser

The spokesman for the NRA is trying to blame the school shooting on every possible thing there is other than the guns themselves and is proposing the most nonsensical solutions imaginable. They want a national registry of mentally ill people, they want arms in the schools. This is just an utter disgrace.

Oh, and he wants this all to happen right now, when the kids come back to school after the holidays. They want to arm the schools like fortresses. Crazy, just plain crazy.

They could have elevated the conversation, as they led us to believe earlier, but, no.

I think a lot of people will be convinced. Nothing like a good culture war to distract people.

Because as the man is saying, who else is better suited to the task than the NRA itself? My god this is foul.
