Ok, so what can we DO?

I am literally shaking after watching that NRA proganda message. I am not skittish, I do not scare easily, I am not hyperemotional.

And while I don't believe that the majority of Americans support them, the kind of poisonous thinking I just saw scares me. Mostly because I have no idea what I can DO about it.

What can sane people do at this time, today to get involved? Calling my congressmen takes all of 10 minutes and is not sufficient. What can we do, on a day to day basis to make sure that common sense continues to prevail in this country regarding this issue?

1. This all sounds like the 'Mutually Assured Destruction' policy of the Cold War.
