(6,262 posts)Surprising. So I want to know where all their lobbying $ comes from. Not from membership dues.
So if his audience is true believers in the gazillions, why are they not members?
Maybe his pathetic pitch was designed to get more members and $, and not truly help our wounded nation? I say yes.

(5,937 posts)emotion will grab onto it also. We assume that all concerned groups see access and proliferation of guns as primary motivators of violence, a hughe swath will easily be fooled into thinking all it was is lack of security and armed response. That is the hollywood we are fed, are there any action films that feature gun control as the way of fighting the bad guys? That is why the NRA knew exactly what it was doing, any suggestions or ideas that come in less than a cop or guard in every school will seem like a weak kneed response to a huge number of americans.
