The problem is not just the NRA or House Republicans

the sickness in this country is the entire "effing" Conservative movement. It's a fucking cancer!

It's not violent video games, or the "media", or mental illness...it's the prominence of a fucking movement, so fucking enamored to their fucking "stand your ground" policies that they can't even pass their own fucking bills!.

The fucking Teabaggery that stabbed Boehner in the back over raising taxes by 3 fucking percentage points on billionaires and millionaires, is the same fuck-nuttery that says I can't go into fucking pizza restaurant without the fear of some fucking Rambo asshat with a Glock "busting a cap in my ass" because I looked at him funny!

Their entire fucking movement can be summed up as "I'm fucking right, so fuck you"!

That's the same mentality that leads asshats to gun down innocent people with assault rifles, or drive the entire country over a fucking cliff. There is NO difference.

You can't disagree with them, or you're a fucking commie-socialist out to destroy America.

Everything from the rhetoric of their politicians, to the vitriol on hate-radio, to the crotch-shot bimbos of Faux News, is designed to inflame hatred and dehumanize those that have the audacity to disagree with their narrow fucking views.

You can't reason with these people. You can't compromise with these people. You can't...and no number of slaughtered innocents will...ever convince them that they might be wrong.

The only thing you can do with people like that, is vote them out of office so that they never are in a position of power...and/or...MAKE SURE THEY DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO ASSAULT WEAPONS!

It's not obvious to most people. It just looks like someone with a gun. But the mentality is the part that is invisible.

Look, I have shotguns. But they're for fun. For shooting clay. I ride my bike past a shooting range every day, and most people there are like zombies. You know the look- see Michelle Bachmann crazy eyes. But there are also shooters in this community who are not that way. I ride my bike by, and they stop until I'm gone. The others, they just blast away. And they leave their trash when they leave, like George Bush.

It all seems pretty easy to me. Get a healthy and educated society, and people will grow and learn. It's better to fix the problem than to deal with the symptoms. The symptoms are violence, alcoholism, depression... And it takes more than just economic equality and education. It takes being raised in an emotionally nurturing atmosphere, something very very few people have ever experienced.

I'm kind of wasting my time, because this solution takes a generation or more. And it's pretty hard to do until a society has enough good thing in it that people can relax, and raise their kids without the horrible situations in which we find ourselves today.

Man, Reagan, Bush, and the conservatives have really made it so we're in self-destruct mode. It keeps them in power.

they have been attempting to dumb down the system
the 'you lie" was NOT a random statement
the remarks about women and blacks are NOT random

it is attempting to have a civil war and get rid of the government

like Bush, their words about the constittuion they spew all the time are meaning opposite.

They want to return to an age that was slavery and repression.
they claim to hate the fundamentalists in some lands, yet, they actually want a system like that.

And then you have the Bush's themselves exploit this for their own gain, to make Jeb look sane for 2016.

Nothing is random.

But they are fighting on the losing side of the war. But it may still take another decade
to beat them forever. That is the sad part.

not acknowledge the legitimacy of our elected government.

It's not a far leap from there to mowing people down with an assault rifle.

as soon as they agree to raise taxes by 3 percentage points on millionaires and billionaires!

They're just "effing" nuts!

Have any of these idiots ever seen a Carrier Based Air-wing in action, or a Marine Expeditionary Unit? Want to take them on with some AR-15s.

Good Luck!

when you are dealing with unreasonable people.

The reason we can't get a reasonable bill to limit firearms in this country, is the same reason we can't get a reasonable return to Clinton era tax rates.

As long as they have a monopoly on hate-radio, we'll never be able to get anything done.

As someone who grew up in the south, there's some wonderful things about it and a good amount of totally reasonable people. Unfortunately, in most places, it's governed by a lunatic majority.

These are people whose ancestors essentially picked up weapons and gave their lives so that the richest 1% could continue to own slaves. It's hardly surprising that they will let their own taxes go up so that the burden can't be shifted to the 1%.
