The AK47%ers are now as historically astute as opposing suffrage for women, or supporting separate hotel entrances for different races. Their dismissal of gun violence is now as "cute" as the earlier dismissal of drunk driving, in the "Mad Men" era. (Actually, less so, since even drunk driving didn't pump six bullets a second into a child's body...)

But your post, DB, is -- entirely - on the right side of history, from this point forward.

...but that doesn't mean that I'm not shaking my head at the sheer insanity of the NRA's press conference today.

We're gonna get through this crisis, but the only way we'll do it is together. You'll see.
