The majority of people & kids who play such video games like "Call of Duty" don't go on murder sprees. That said, if Adam Lanza spent hours in a windowless basement obsessing over such games (as reported by media), that was probably a contributing factor especially if he had mental issues and lived in isolation from society.

I keep seeing posts about how the "mentally ill" should be prohibited from owning firearms, and now posts about how they should be prohibited from buying violent video games. Why not look at the combo of guns and violent games, and leave the mentally ill out of it for one post?

Being a gamer doesn't carry any sort of visible indication...well, except for a few that completely correspond to the "fat, virgin neckbeard living in their parents' basement" stereotype, I suppose...

I play the Call of Duty series and Battlefield 3. I also own firearms. Ive never once felt the urge to use them on people.

People who play Angry Birds should build catapults.
People who play Minecraft should be architects.
