Obama 2006—”Too many of us have been interested in defending programs as written in 1938″

On launch day, enter soon-to-be–presidential candidate Barack Obama to the Robert Rubin–Roger Altman chambers. Remember, Rubin and Altman were Bill Clinton Bigs. Obama felt very much at home in this chamber, with these ideas. Very one of them.

You could call this pb[Obama’s NeoLiberal Manifesto. Watch and see if I’m wrong. It’s not long, it touches most of the bases, and tells you all you need to know about how Barack Obama would govern. (Points if you hear footsteps of 2013 as well.)

2. I think many Democrats Voted for Him...based on this...which is an excellent speech...

IF, that is, you were a Banker, Globalist, Free Trader, Get Jobs Out of Here but tell folks they need to Spend More Money to get Advanced Education for Wall St. (i.e. MBA) with more money spent and not encouraging "Tech Colleges who will get kids not into "Globilization" into programs that will allow the servicing of us for our HVAC/Fast Food/ and other "Privatizations" of our "Lifestyle."

But, the money for Advanced Education and onto MA and PHD was to be for the "BRAIN INTEREST" who would RULE the "Technology School" Graduates because those people would always be "servicing the Wealth" ....so they didn't matter unless a Big Fat Rich Cat wanted his Heating Repaired over a Holiday and then they'd call in the TECH SCHOOL GRAD..to FIX it ASAP...while the guy or gal had a Holiday Celeberation/Family Time of THEIR OWN...but the BIG GUY/GAL's Heating System took precedence over the HVAC Repair Mans time with THEIR OWN FAMILY!

ON EDIT: I voted for him CAUTIOUSLY but with HIGH HOPES the FIRST TIME....The SECOND TIME....I just voted to try to keep the Supreme Court even and hope for better rulings from them.

I LOVE MICHELL OBAMA and those KIDS, though. I always had hopes that MICHELLE and the kids would keep him oriented for the good of all of us.

3. And...I've wondered how many "DU'ers" watched this speech and love the whole thing...

and how many Just Took him on FACE VALUE because he seemed the "Light of the Future?"
