Wayne LaPierre is so certain that more guns are the solution to gun violence in America. Perhaps we should ask him to test out his plan. Give Wayne a handgun (whatever a guard would likely use), and put him in front of an empty school. Then send over a gunman with a semiautomatic rifle, bushmaster, and some other weapons the typical mass shooter uses, along with a supply of magazines that hold 100 bullets. How do you think Wayne would fare in that situation? If he refuses the proposal, he admits his ideas are BS designed only to sell more weapons.
Yes, this post is entirely hypothetical because it would result in the death of Mr. LaPierre, which would be illegal. Still, the idea highlights the absurdity of the NRA's insane proposition. Wouldn't you love to see him compelled to prove his proposal works?
