was no surprise about the nomination. I think he'll do a great job, but anyone who follows Hillary is bound to be less of an international star.

more attention than almost anyone else would because of her unique positions and experience in American political life.

Gun control and the fiscal 'cliff' are both bigger; and Congress has packed up to go home for Christmas, so the rent-a-quotes are getting thin on the ground.
